louse starts sucking

Not enough with the creatures. I soon then made another creature Animation for a Insecticide commercial for Südlich-t OHG here I was responsible first for the Character Setup and Skinning of a the Louse, the featuring character in the spot.

For the animation we then split the Tasks. So one artist did the feature animation and i made the more complex but less visible walk cycles for the lice crowd on the plant twigs.
Unfortunately the scene got very large, and even after placed 17 lice the scene was unloadable by most of the computers in the company...

So to reduce the memory of the scene i had to get rid of the character setup and in order baking the geometry of the lice and so having the opportunity to add more lice.

Finally for the long shot the scene was split in two groups. The lower assembly of lice on the twig and the upper part of lice.

later in the compositing the footage was multiplied to some more further apart twigs too to fill the image.
